Kevin Hart exposed the non-disclosure agreement signed by his former assistant, Miesha Shakes, as part of his defamation lawsuit against both her and blogger Tasha K.
According to reports, Kevin sued them over false claims made in an interview.
Kevin alleges that Tasha’s associate demanded $250k to shelve the interview, leading to a refusal, police involvement, and a cease-and-desist letter.
Despite this, Tasha proceeded to publish the interview, prompting Kevin to file a civil lawsuit for extortion and defamation, seeking a restraining order and injunction.
Kevin emphasized the potential impact on his reputation and livelihood in the entertainment industry.
The NDA, attached to the motion, was signed after Miesha’s employment ended, outlining confidentiality terms and financial details.
A judge is yet to rule on Kevin’s request for a restraining order.
