Vince McMahon, co-founder of the modern WWE, has resigned as TKO executive chairman and from the TKO board of directors following a sexual misconduct lawsuit filed against him.
The lawsuit, brought by Janel Grant, accuses McMahon of forced sexual relations and sharing explicit content.
McMahon denies the allegations and plans to vigorously defend himself.
Despite this, he has chosen to step down out of respect for the TKO business and its stakeholders.
McMahon had previously stepped down as WWE’s CEO in 2022 amid similar allegations, and the recent lawsuit seeks to void a nondisclosure agreement signed in 2022.
