Tyrese Gibson’s former spouse, Samantha Lee, has initiated legal action, accusing the actor of failing to meet his court-ordered child support obligations for their 4-year-old daughter, Soraya.
Despite previous motions for contempt, court documents reveal Gibson paid less than half of the $10,690 owed in December 2023 and January 2024.
Lee seeks not only contempt charges but also requests coverage of her attorney fees and interest on the outstanding child support.
The judge’s prior cautions about financial responsibilities and maintaining a positive environment for their daughter still resonate, despite the divorce verdict in 2022, which ruled out spousal support for either party.
