Duncan Mighty, also known as Duncan Mighty, a Nigerian vocalist, has revealed that prior to pursuing music and gaining fame, he was a member of the Niger-Delta militants.
He shared that his life was saved numerous times by God during his involvement in militancy in Port Harcourt’s creeks.
Despite his past, many were unaware of his previous association with militancy when he rose to prominence.
He mentioned in a recent interview with 3Music in Accra, Ghana, that he hails from the South South region and was actively involved in community efforts related to protecting his people and oil resources during the Niger Delta crisis before the amnesty.
Moreover, Duncan Mighty mentioned that he initially played drums in a church before transitioning to secular music, recalling his time as the first drummer for Christ Embassy in Port Harcourt.
