Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son, Christian “King” Combs, are facing a new lawsuit alleging sexual assault during a 2022 winter trip in St. Martin on a luxury yacht chartered by the Combs family.
The complaint, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, accuses Christian Combs of forcibly assaulting Grace O’Marcaigh, a woman working as a steward on the yacht.
O’Marcaigh claims that Christian pressured her to drink tequila, which she suspects was spiked, and then proceeded to assault her sexually.
The lawsuit also alleges that another music producer on the yacht recorded part of the incident.
O’Marcaigh states that she complained to the ship’s captain, but Sean Combs allegedly tipped the captain generously to cover up the incident.
Christian Combs is accused of assault, battery, sexual assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, while Sean Combs is accused of aiding and abetting and premises liability as the lease-holder of the yacht.
An attorney for Sean and Christian Combs dismissed the claims as “manufactured lies” and suggested they were a media ploy for attention.
The lawsuit also references unsettling events witnessed by O’Marcaigh while working on the yacht, including an alleged incident involving a distressed sex worker.
The lawsuit against the Combs family comes amid ongoing legal troubles for Sean Combs, including previous allegations of sexual assault and other misconduct dating back to the 1990s.
Federal authorities recently conducted raids on Sean Combs’ properties as part of a sex trafficking investigation, though details of the investigation have not been disclosed.
These legal issues add to a series of controversies surrounding Sean Combs, including prior allegations of assault and harassment from multiple accusers.
Sean Combs has denied all allegations of wrongdoing in these cases and has faced significant professional repercussions as a result of the accusations, including stepping down from leadership positions and losing business partnerships.
