The 2024 CMT Music Awards celebrated some of country music’s biggest names. The awards show took place on Sunday, April 7 at 8 p.m. ET at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Kelsea Ballerini returned to host the show for the fourth time, marking her first solo hosting gig.
Ballerini and four other musicians — Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, and Megan Moroney — received the most nominations this year, with three each.
Among the nominees, there are several first-time contenders, including Amber Riley, Ashley Cooke, Bret Michaels, Chayce Beckham, Hozier, Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr., Tyler Childers, Warren Zeiders, Zach Bryan, Anne Wilson, Ella Langley, The Castellows, and Tigirlily Gold.
