Kanye West is accused of hitting a man who allegedly assaulted his wife, Bianca Censori, during a night out in Los Angeles.
The incident reportedly occurred after the man “pushed or grabbed” Censori.
West’s team strongly disputes the characterization of a simple grab, claiming the man “put his hands under her dress” and engaged in more serious misconduct.
This led to West allegedly punching the man, who then filed a battery report with the Los Angeles Police Department. West and Censori then left the scene.
LAPD is expected to reach out to West’s team for their version of events and to collect witness statements.
Earlier that day, West and Censori were seen at Disneyland California, where Censori was observed without shoes and with bandages on her feet.
Disneyland’s dress code requires appropriate attire, including footwear, at all times. Censori’s choice of footwear did not comply with the park’s guidelines.
West’s children, whom he shares with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, were not present during the Disney visit.
