This past week has been eventful for Britney Spears, as she finalized her divorce from Sam Asghari and settled her conservatorship dispute with her father, Jamie Spears. However, she’s back in the news due to an incident at a hotel with her boyfriend, Paul Soliz.
Britney and Paul arrived at the Chateau Marmont late on May 1st. According to reports, a disturbance occurred, with Britney allegedly harassing hotel guests and staff and making threats.
Police were called around 10:30 p.m., but nothing unusual was witnessed.
Around 11:00 p.m., an altercation reportedly occurred between Britney and Paul in their room, leading Britney to become upset and scream in the hallway.
Concerned guests thought she might be having a mental episode and called an ambulance around 12:40 a.m., suspecting she might have injured her leg during the altercation.
Paramedics arrived, but Britney, although visibly upset, did not enter the ambulance or go to the hospital. She left the hotel with her security detail, but Paul was not with her.
Paul Soliz came into Britney’s life in 2022 as a housekeeper but was reportedly fired later due to his criminal history.
Despite a brief fling in the aftermath of Britney’s divorce, they reconnected in February 2024.
Apart from these personal issues, Britney’s finances have also been in the spotlight, with some claiming she’s at risk of going broke due to lavish spending, while others insist she has sufficient funds.
