An investigation is underway following a shooting at Canadian rapper Drake’s expansive mansion in the upscale Bridle Path neighborhood.
The incident occurred around 2:10 a.m. near Bayview and Lawrence Avenues.
Although police have not disclosed many details, a source revealed that the victim was a security guard at Drake’s residence.
Apparently, the guard was shot in a drive-by attack, sustaining an upper chest wound that left him unconscious.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. Drake’s home has been cordoned off by police, and the area is heavily patrolled.
