Earlier this year, Homeland Security raided two of Diddy’s mansions in Miami and LA. Subsequently, federal authorities intercepted the mogul and his entourage at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, resulting in the arrest of 25-year-old Brendan Paul.
He was charged with possession of suspected cocaine and possession of suspected marijuana candy, both considered felonies in Florida.
Paul was also named in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of handling the mogul’s drugs and firearms.
Recent reports indicate that Brendan Paul has avoided jail time by entering a drug diversion program.
His attorney, Brian Bieber, confirmed, “Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to permit his entry into the diversion program which, after completion, the case against him will be dismissed in its entirety.”
The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office clarified that this is a standard offer for non-violent first-time offenders.
Paul is expected to complete the drug diversion program in approximately six months. Successful completion will allow him to avoid incarceration or probation.
While Paul’s legal situation seems to be improving, Diddy continues to face multiple civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault, abuse, human trafficking, and other charges.
He maintains his innocence and has recently been focusing on his family amidst these legal challenges.
