Adria English, a former adult film actor, has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of sex trafficking and sexual assault during her time working for him from 2004 to 2009.
The 114-page lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleges that Combs and others used English as a “sexual pawn” at parties in his homes in the Hamptons and Miami.
The complaint also claims that Combs forced English into prostitution between 2006 and 2009.
This lawsuit is the ninth against Combs since November and the eighth accusing him of sexual assault.
Previous lawsuits include one from ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, which was settled, and another involving Combs’ son, Christian, where Combs is accused of aiding and abetting.
Combs’ attorney, Jonathan Davis, responded to the lawsuit by asserting that Combs has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone, emphasizing that lawsuits can be filed without proof and expressing confidence in the judicial process to reveal the truth.
English’s lawsuit seeks a jury trial and unspecified punitive damages. While Combs has strongly denied many of the allegations, he has not addressed all of them publicly.
In December 2023, Combs posted a firm denial on social media, calling the accusations “sickening” and accusing the accusers of seeking a “quick payday.”
Federal investigators are also considering bringing Combs’ accusers before a grand jury, indicating that the US Justice Department might pursue an indictment against him.
This would represent a significant escalation in the ongoing investigation into the music mogul and founder of Bad Boy Records.
