Organizers of Africa’s hit reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, have announced that the ninth season will kick off on July 28.
The premiere will be broadcast on DStv Channels 151 and 154, beginning a 71-day period full of drama and excitement.
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels West Africa at MultiChoice, disclosed that this season will feature a diverse group of paired contestants. With a total prize pool of N100 million, the competition is set to be fierce.
Tejumola expressed excitement about the new season, noting the tremendous buzz on social media and the high level of interest. She promised that the new format would introduce fresh dynamics and unforgettable entertainment.
“This season, contestants will compete in pairs for the first time, adding an electrifying twist to the show. This new format will foster unique alliances and rivalries, providing viewers with intense competition and surprising friendships.
