Jennifer Lopez is once again in the limelight as she promotes her new film, “Unstoppable,” produced by Ben Affleck.
She made a striking appearance at the film’s premiere on September 6, 2024, at the Toronto International Film Festival, wearing a revealing silver dress by Tamara Ralph adorned with black bows.
This event was Lopez’s first public outing since filing for divorce from Affleck, who was notably absent. Although Affleck wasn’t there, the premiere was attended by co-stars Bobby Cannavale, Jharrel Jerome, Don Cheadle, and Matt Damon, another producer of the film.
“Unstoppable” depicts the remarkable life of wrestler Anthony Robles, who, despite being born with one leg, won a national championship at Arizona State University.
This project marks the first collaboration between Affleck and Lopez since their marriage in 2022. Affleck also appeared in Lopez’s 2024 album “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” and its documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, 2024, after two years of marriage. The timing was notable, as it coincided with the anniversary of their second wedding in Georgia. This followed her decision to cancel her summer tour in late May to spend time with her family.
The couple has not publicly commented on their separation. However, documents reveal that Lopez has requested to revert to her maiden name and has asked the court to deny spousal support.
On August 31, Lopez shared a photo slideshow on social media, including messages about finding peace and being “unbothered.”
