On Monday night, Dancing With The Stars pro Ezra Sosa sparked a buzz on social media when he jokingly suggested that Luigi Mangione could be his next dance partner on the show.
Mangione, 26, was recently arrested and charged with the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Manhattan on December 4.
Sosa, 24, posted a TikTok video where he laughed in front of a photo of Mangione, captioning it: “he finna be my partner season 34” while playing an audio clip titled “My lips like sugarrrrrr.” Fans quickly flooded the comments, pointing out the striking resemblance between Sosa and Mangione.
One follower commented, “Omg you look like twins,” while others joked about the uncanny similarity, with one person even suggesting Sosa enter a look-alike contest. Some fans also humorously speculated that American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy might create a show about Mangione, with Sosa cast in the role.
Despite the lighthearted video, the situation took a darker turn as Mangione appeared in court for his extradition hearing, where he was filmed angrily ranting about law enforcement before being restrained by sheriff’s deputies.
