The film follows John as he prepares for his final North American concert at Dodger Stadium, reflecting on his life and the early stages of his 50-year career. It will also feature a new original song by Elton John.

Directed by R.J. Cutler and David Furnish, Elton John’s husband, the documentary explores the highs and lows of his early life, showcasing how he overcame adversity, addiction, and abuse to become the icon he is today.

The documentary was produced by Rocket Entertainment and This Machine Filmworks, with several executive producers involved.

The documentary also includes footage of Elton John performing the song Never Too Late with Brandi Carlile.

Elton’s final North American concert took place at Dodger Stadium in November 2022, where he performed for three nights.

During his last show in Stockholm, John reflected on his incredible 50-year career, expressing his gratitude for his fans’ support throughout the years.

Elton John’s farewell tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road, continues to be celebrated for his extraordinary performances, including a two-and-a-half-hour show at age 75, highlighting his lasting legacy in music.
