Nikki Glaser, 40, kicked off the Golden Globes by joking about weight-loss medication, calling it “Ozempic’s biggest night.”
From the stage at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Glaser praised Zendaya for her performance in Challengers, a film about a love triangle involving a tennis star, but added, “That movie was more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card.” She then poked fun at the after-party, saying it wouldn’t be as exciting, and humorously suggested Stanley Tucci would need to step in as host, joking, “No baby oil this year, just olive oil.”
Glaser also referenced a federal investigation into Sean “Diddy” Combs’ properties, where authorities reportedly seized large quantities of baby oil and other supplies related to his “Freak Off” event. She kept the humor going by mocking Ben Affleck’s personal life, stating, “‘Wicked,’ ‘Queer,’ ‘Nightbitch’… these are not just words Ben Affleck yells when he orgasms,” a quip related to his ongoing divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
Reflecting on her career, Glaser recalled her start on Last Comic Standing in college, sharing that she worked hard for 22 years to get to where she is. She credited comedian Ricky Gervais with giving her valuable hosting advice, encouraging her by saying, “You’re not one of them.”
