Drake took shots at his exes during a concert in Australia after his former partners, Serena Williams and SZA, joined his longtime rival Kendrick Lamar on stage for the Super Bowl 2025 halftime show.
During his performance, Drake delivered a fiery rant about past relationships, urging fans to “turn up” if they were doing better than their exes. He then performed You Broke My Heart, a track from his latest album, where he repeatedly sings, “Yeah, f— my ex.”
His comments came after Lamar, who has been feuding with Drake since 2023, performed his infamous diss track against him at the Super Bowl. To escalate the rivalry, Lamar brought out Williams and SZA, seemingly aligning them with him against Drake.
Drake and SZA were briefly linked in 2008-2009, a relationship he confirmed in his 2020 song Mr. Right Now. Meanwhile, Drake and Williams had an on-and-off romance between 2011 and 2015, though they reportedly remained friends.
Following Lamar’s performance, Drake subtly responded on social media, posting concert photos with the caption “$$$inema” and a close-up of his signature chain—possibly a dig at Lamar, who wore a necklace featuring an “A” during his Super Bowl set, referencing lyrics from Not Like Us.
The feud between Drake and Lamar has been ongoing, with tensions escalating after Drake sued Universal Music Group in early 2025, accusing them of allowing Lamar to release a diss track that included damaging allegations against him.
