Former U.S. President Donald Trump has declared he will never surrender following an assassination attempt on his life this past Sunday.
Gunshots were fired at Trump’s golf course near West Palm Beach while he was there. Federal authorities have confirmed that it was a failed attempt on his life.
Trump’s team issued a statement assuring that he is “safe and well.” The message read: “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors spread, I want you to know that I am safe and well. Nothing will slow me down. I will never surrender.”
This incident comes a few months after a previous attempt on Trump’s life, where he was shot in the ear.
