Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa revealed the agreement with Botswana’s President Mokgweetsi Masisi, envisioning passport-free travel across their borders.
This aligns with a broader trend in Africa, where various nations are facilitating entry for visitors from the continent.
Mnangagwa emphasized the need to transcend colonial-era restrictions, expressing the intent to instruct relevant departments to streamline the movement of people between Zimbabwe and Botswana.
Similar visa-free initiatives have emerged in other African countries, fostering regional connectivity and ease of travel.
