Famous comedian Mark Watson faced an unexpected twist in his Bristol show. The well-known QI and Taskmaster star was set to perform “The Search” tour at Bristol’s Tobacco Factory. However, 15 minutes before showtime, he found himself locked out, along with his eager audience.
In an amusing yet unexpected turn of events, Watson addressed the waiting crowd, humorously admitting, “There’s no other way to say it, I can’t get in.” Despite informing the venue staff of his presence an hour earlier, he found the door still firmly shut, attributing it to nobody’s fault.
Watson, captured in an Instagram video within the theatre bar, shared the surreal situation with his audience, who, like him, couldn’t access their seats. He contemplated performing in the bar but, respecting his audience’s expectations, he chose to acknowledge the situation and assure them he was taking it seriously.
Surprisingly, this wasn’t the first time Watson encountered such a predicament during his tour. Eventually, after some delay, the Bristol show commenced as both the comedian and his audience managed to gain access to the venue.
