In 2007, at the age of 22, Reigns was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), and the cancer resurfaced in 2018, prompting him to step back from WWE TV. He made a comeback in 2019.
Recently, Reigns disclosed that he is still undergoing medication for cancer, describing it as “very potent.”
“For leukemia, if you catch it early like I did, you can take a crucial medication, which I am still taking today,” he shared in a documentary.
“However, it’s mainly about conditioning your body to tolerate these strong medications and hoping for the best outcome.”
