A sixth victim has been found at the site of the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse, as salvage teams notified Maryland State Police on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as José Mynor López, 37, of Baltimore, one of the construction workers presumed killed in the collapse.
Maryland State Police Col. Roland L. Butler, Jr., expressed condolences, stating, “Today marks a significant milestone in our recovery efforts and providing closure to the loved ones of the six workers who lost their lives in this tragic event.”
Family and friends gathered at a memorial at Fort Armistead Park to honor the victims, including José Mynor López.
