The body of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who reportedly passed away at 47, was discovered with signs of bruising in the IK-3 penal colony, also known as ‘Polar Wolf.’
These injuries have sparked suspicions of Vladimir Putin’s involvement in Navalny’s untimely death.
Paramedics found bruises on Navalny’s body, which is currently guarded at a morgue in the Salekhard district clinical hospital.
Despite conflicting reports, the cause of Navalny’s death remains undetermined.
Contradictory information surrounds his passing, with initial claims suggesting “sudden death syndrome,” yet lacking concrete evidence.
Russian officials, including the prison service and Kremlin-controlled Telegram channel, provided varying explanations, adding to the confusion.
Navalny’s lawyer and mother, upon arriving in Salekhard, were allegedly told the body was in the morgue, but conflicting statements emerged.
The lawyer’s team suggested a cover-up, stating, “It’s obvious that the killers want to cover their tracks.”
US President Joe Biden expressed no doubt in blaming Putin for Navalny’s death.
