On Monday, Apple unveiled new MacBook Air laptops featuring the latest M3 processors, aiming to attract consumers seeking upgraded artificial intelligence-powered personal computers.
The models, available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, boast up to a 60% increase in speed compared to the M1 processor.
The smaller variant starts at $1,099, while the larger one is priced at $1,299 in the United States.
Both models are now available for order, with deliveries commencing later this week.
Apple, having utilized its own chip since 2020, anticipates the introduction of AI-enabled PCs to contribute to the recovery of the PC market in 2024 after a two-year post-pandemic decline.
Mac sales experienced a slight uptick at $7.78 billion in the last reported quarter following a one-third decline in the previous quarter.
